Terms of Service

Last updated: July 13, 2026

By creating an account or using The Kintsugi Collective you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose — read them.

What this is

A private, invite-only community where members voluntarily help each other. It is not a marketplace, an employer, an agency, or a professional service. The platform never touches money: if you choose to support a member through their payment link, that transaction is between you and them, on the payment service's terms, at your own judgment.

Assistance offered through The Kintsugi Collective is provided voluntarily by community members. Verify credentials independently. It is not a substitute for professional, licensed, or emergency services.

Membership

Membership is by invitation and requires a Google account. You must be at least 18. Each invite link works once — who you spend yours on reflects on you. Keep your profile accurate and yours: no impersonation, no accounts on someone else's behalf.

Conduct

Be someone worth vouching for. No harassment, threats, hate, or discrimination. No spam, scraping, or solicitation of members for schemes. No illegal activity, and no using help requests to obtain services that require a license you know the helper doesn't hold. Members can report profiles that cross these lines; reports go to the founder.

Help between members

Help is offered voluntarily, as-is, by people who are not vetted professionals unless they say otherwise and you verify it. You are responsible for your own decisions — including whose advice you take, who you meet, and what you pay for. The platform and its operator are not a party to help exchanged between members and accept no liability for it.

Your content

Your profile and messages remain yours. You grant the platform permission to display them to the audiences you've chosen (members, or the public teaser if you enable public listing) — that's the only license we need and the only one we take.

Suspension

The founder can suspend or remove any account to protect the community, with or without notice. Suspended members lose access to the directory, requests, and messaging. Invite mechanics exist to keep the community healthy and may change at any time.

The service itself

Provided as-is, without warranty. We may change or discontinue features. To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operator's total liability for anything arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid to use it — which is nothing.
